Puducherry: A 25-year-old woman who was seriously injured when a parcel bomb exploded in her house near Puducherry on Tuesday has died.
The woman, daughter of a retired textile mill employee, had reportedly received a phone call before she received the parcel in which the bomb was allegedly packed. On opening it, the bomb exploded, police said. The woman was admitted to a hospital.
Investigation is centred on whether the parcel was received from any courier company or was delivered by any outsider to the girl. The sender is yet to be traced.
