Bollywood heaps praise on Salman Khan’s Chillar Party

After Ready, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is making waves at filmi circuits with his debut production Chillar Party, which is a children’s film.

The flamboyant Khan and co-producer Ronnie Screwvala held the premiere of Chillar Party where a lot of Bollywood celebrities were invited. Many who saw the film were left gushing about it.

For starters, Salman Khan tweeted that Chillar Party is by far the best film he has been part of.

“Saw Chillar Party with the chillarrrrr party . This is by far the best movie that I have ever been a part of. You see it and if you like it publicize it, no better publicity than mouth publicity…and if you don’t (like it), rip it apart, you have the rite and no body else,” Salman posted on his Twitter page.

Anurag Basu, who has directed films like Murder and Gangster, gave the movie five stars. “***** for Chillar party, brilliant 1st film for Vikas Bahl, in fact better than 10th film of many Directors,” Basu wrote.

Amrita Rao said films like Chillar Party do justice to the silver screen. “I’m proud of All & every1 associated with Chillar Party! Finally films dat do justice to the Silver Screen! Chillars U were such naturals.”

Director Rohan Sippy too was effusive in his praise for the film. “Chillar Party is great- very very funny, kids & the dog are brilliant- a film with real heart:)”

Arshad Warsi took his son and his many kid friends with him to the premiere.”’Watched Chillar Party last night…. Sweet film, full of good gyaan n a whole lot of laughs, took 18 kids with me they all had fun,” Warsi wrote.

Arbaaz Khan wasn’t at the premiere but had already seen the film at IIFA in Toronto. “I saw it at the Iffa screening in Toronto. Its a fun film 🙂 A must watch for kids , its a family entertainer with a strong message. Wish Salman and the team of Chillar party all the success !!!”

Director Bejoy Nambiar too gave a thumbs up to the film. “Chillar Party !! Super feel good film. Vikas Behl – Mann Behl gaya. The kids were just adorable.”
